cchampliss2 | What would this entail when Chiron is conjunct the ASC from the 12th house? |
curiouspisces89 | Bump! My friend had this and I would like to know what it means as well |
YoursTrulyAlways | The pain of your life is contained on your outwardly presentation. I have this too from the 1st House. Not good at all. |

Best associated with nursing or natural healing. Chiron was healer/teacher + 12th=medical services. Don't know enough from this aspect alone, especially since it is only an asteroid. And you cannot know the house positions of others' charts if you have not done the work to verify their Asc degree and sign. Chiron/Asc does not = 'pain on face.' I have Chiron Parallel my Asc and want to emphasize Chiron does not equal 'pain.' Chiron's identity as evidenced in his actions was teacher of children, healer, master of many arts related to nature. Alone (as with any single aspect) it cannot and does not dictate personal appearance or suffering. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Astrology & Natural Medicine blog |
appleberry | My friend's daughter has it and she has huge self esteem issues. She's overweight but quite beautiful, intelligent and incredible work ethic but I don't think she'll ever see that about herself. ------------------ > > Please don't quote. |
cchampliss2 | Thank you all for your responses. One of my dearest friends has this in her chart. I ran into her as she was leaving for a trip home for the holidays. We've looked at her chart together before but I was never sure of what I was looking at and I decided to take a look again after running into her the other day. She is very tall and slender and to me, has always been graceful (Libra asc) but she seems so frail and tired most of the time. She works with disadvantaged youth by getting them to express themselves through art and poetry. She's sweet but there's always an air of vulnerability to her. I almost can't explain it. But anyway, it's just one aspect but her chiron in Virgo, conjuncts her ASC by less than 2 deg. from her 12th house. |
GemBird82 | Well if I'm not wrong, Ms Linda had chiron conj asc and She had pretty good self steem, she was quite confident, mastered many arts as lexigrams, numbers, astrology, poems and She was also a good teacher for many people The problem with chiron would be that you can't heal others without having experienced your own health issues before, that's the story of chiron. But it's just relative, I don't think it should be associated with pain or suffering because of that. Looking at the whole chart and not focusing on single aspects alone should give us a better picture, at least I think so |
cchampliss2 | GemBird, does the conjunction from the 12th house have a significant meaning at all? Or anybody else with an answer to that. |
GemBird82 | >>> GemBird, does the conjunction from the 12th house have a significant meaning at all? Or anybody else with an answer to that. <<< Sorry for not answering in time, sometimes I think it's better to leave some aspects there and not think or overthink about them, especially when there is cloudy info about them in the web. That aside, I think if your friend has chosen to project herself as a fragile, delicate girl in this lifetime, then it could be because being that way She's looks a lot more approachable, sweet and reliable to the eyes of those who need her help. There are times when the 12th house tell us about unfinished work, prior to this journey. I'd say in the moment your friend decided to help and care of disadvantaged people, She was probably doing 'the right thing'. But it doesn't mean She has to do it forever, as if She was binded to such duty. There are times to help and times for ourselves, your friend is free to do what She wants to do. The act of helping others is not the same as having a routinary job (chiron in 12th, house of work) Now, if there is something that it's really worth to see in our charts, it should be the north node. So, if I were your friend I'd look there |
Aries23Degrees | Chiron conjunct Asc- The healer, teacher or "gifted" one? I can understand why these people would be bullied. There is an incredible sensitive reaction that they may have with regards to life. Or they my even come across as a little "weird". |

Most people who are bullied or outcasted have heavy activity involving uranus or aquarius in their charts, for the reasons you mentioned. They stand out and people fear whats different.
Chiron in the 12th sounds more like a tendency towards self sabotage or self destruction, that the native struggles to get under control, than anything involving being bullied. |

Do you think the native is aware of it, especially since the 12th house is usually described as the part of ourselves that's hard to access. Almost a little out of reach sometimes. I'm wondering this and may even start another thread because I have several friends with chiron in the 12th house natal. But they're all in different signs. |

Would the different signs matter with chiron conjunct Asc? |

There is something Uranian/Neptune about Chiron. But at the same time Saturnine. I don't know how to describe it well. But I think of Chiron as the eccentric old lady who dances naked in the forest to receive "healing" from the earth goddess etc. These people have an alternative approach to life and bring on a sort of "we are all one" and all that "alternative healing" stuff. The teachings are rarely cold and academic in nature. Not like Saturn. They are more holistic and easily inadmissible- because at their crux, they are not tangible and "real"(more psychological). Uranus/Neptune people often know and sense(intuitively) that they are far ahead of most. Chiron (I am not sure)enjoys the same sense of self-awareness. Often times they do not understand why people won't believe them when they try their earnest to show them the way. I think that it is this quality that makes them "scary" to others. That they are un-apologetically "weird" and still want to be taken seriously.

As much as Mars conjunct Asc would matter depending on sign. I think it would. Mars(Cancer) conjunct Asc would give a heady focus on the internal feelings and the emotional nature of the self. Some would say that that person is very sensitive and may be robust in responding to threats and rebuffs(whether real of imagined) A warrior(Mars) of the heart(Cancer) and one who wears that title on their sleeve(Asc). So similarly,if Chiron is in Taurus. It will add a theme related to Taurus. But you will still have this echo a lot in the person's outward personality and the way they relate to those outside of them. I know someone who has Chiron in Taurus conjunct Asc and looks down on those who are not well off or wealthy. The weird part about this is that he is not that rich either. And often has shallow people around him that exacerbate that feeling of being "worthless". He is very eccentric(as is fitting of Chiron). And often stands out of the group he is a part of as not quite "blending in". His clothes and fashion sense is more "economical" and random(whilst the rest wear expensive labels and go to pricey places). And he thinks it is not obvious to others. In reality it is. And painfully so |
